Gadya Aapla Gaon Bara is an upcomin Marathi film produced and directed by Dharmanand Vernekar. It is set in an idyllic village in Goa; it is the story of a freedom fighter battling an unscrupulous builder in an effort to
save his village from indiscriminate development.
The star cast of the soon-to-be-released film visited the city on Monday.
The film stars Makarand Anaspure, Sayaji Shinde, Dr Mohan Agashe, ShilpaAnaspure and Savita Malpekar. The film was released in Goa last year. And now, it will hit screens across Maharashtra on 4th Jan, 2013. According to Makarand Anaspure, who is also the co-producer, the subject is universal.
